Arrival at Bagdogra/NJP – Transfer to Darjeeling
Bagdogra Airport / NJP → Darjeeling
Arrive at Bagdogra Airport or New Jalpaiguri Railway Station. Our representative will greet your family and drive you to Darjeeling, the "Queen of the Hills." Enjoy the scenic 3-4 hour drive through tea gardens and winding mountain roads. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and relax. In the evening, take a leisurely walk on the Mall Road. Overnight stay in Darjeeling.
Darjeeling Sightseeing & Toy Train Ride
Tiger Hill, Ghoom Monastery, Toy Train, Tea Garden
Wake up early (around 3:30 AM) to visit Tiger Hill and witness the magical sunrise over Mount Kanchenjunga. On the way back, visit the Ghoom Monastery. After breakfast, enjoy the famous Darjeeling Himalayan Railway Toy Train ride — a UNESCO World Heritage experience. Later, visit the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park (famous for Red Pandas), and a Tea Garden. Overnight stay in Darjeeling.
Darjeeling – Gangtok & Tsomgo Lake Excursion
Darjeeling → Gangtok → Tsomgo Lake
After breakfast, check out and drive to Gangtok, the capital of Sikkim. Upon arrival, proceed for an excursion to the stunning Tsomgo Lake, a glacial lake situated at an altitude of 12,400 ft, surrounded by rugged mountains. The lake is considered sacred by the locals and offers breathtaking views. Return to Gangtok in the evening. Overnight stay in Gangtok.
Gangtok Local Sightseeing
Rumtek Monastery, Flower Show, Banjhakri Falls
After breakfast, enjoy a full day of local sightseeing in Gangtok. Visit the famous Rumtek Monastery, a stunning Tibetan Buddhist monastery. Explore the Jawaharlal Nehru Botanical Garden, the enchanting Banjhakri Falls, and the Flower Exhibition Centre. Spend the evening at leisure on MG Marg, the heart of Gangtok. Overnight stay at Gangtok.
Gangtok – Bagdogra/NJP (Departure)
Gangtok → Bagdogra Airport / NJP Station
After breakfast, enjoy a final morning in the hills. Later, check out and drive back to Bagdogra Airport or New Jalpaiguri Railway Station for your onward journey. Depart with unforgettable family memories of the Toy Train ride, serene Tsomgo Lake, and the charming hill stations of Darjeeling and Gangtok.
